EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE

Hi Friends!  Pssst… I want to let you in on a little secret.  This Friday is that time of year again where Nordstrom is having their anniversary sale and I wanted to be one of the first to give you the exclusive details on the upcoming event.  For only a few weeks each summer, Nordstrom makes shoppers’ dreams come true by offering brand new arrivals (for both summer and fall) at irresistIble sale prices for a limited time only. This legendary event is what shoppers know today as the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

Mark your calendars to make sure you don’t miss the event. I can help be your personal shopper this year. I’ve hand-selected some staple pieces to add to your wardrobe without breaking the bank. My one rule is when in doubt, buy it. If you’re not sure about the piece, just purchased it, you can always return it. I know that sounds bad, but when you can get great brand names at a huge discount it’s worth taking the risk. Items can sell out quickly and the picks in your checkout cart will sell out, so there’s no room for second-guessing.

THE DATES

Early Access: 7/12 – 7/18
During Early Access, Nordstrom cardholders get to shop the Anniversary Sale a full week before it opens to the public. In order to shop Early Access this year, you must be a cardholder and you can apply for a Nordstrom Credit Card by clicking here to make sure you score on the best deals before Public Access.

Public Sale 7/19-8/4
For non-card holders, the Anniversary Sale opens to the public on Friday, July 19 and wraps on Sunday, August 4. Nordstrom historically restocks items that have sold out during the Early Access window, so be sure to keep an eye out!

3 PRO SHOPPING TIPS FOR THE BIG SALE

• The card is key. If you do not have a Nordstrom card and you’re wanting to shop the sale, I highly suggest that you get one. The reason why is because THE GOOD STUFF GOES FAST! I’ve always hated when I get to a sale and every single item I wanted was either out of stock or sold out. Don’t become victim to my shopping failures.  You can become a cardholder by clicking here so you can get early access to the sale.
• Be prepared. Having so many great options to choose from can be overwhelming on what to purchase. I suggest you create a list of your must-have items going into the sale. Below I’ve hand-selected some staple pieces you can choose from.
• Stick to closet staples. This isn’t a sale to buy trendy items. This is a sale for adding that perfect jacket you will wear every day or those sandals you’ve been drooling over. Maybe a few jewelry staple pieces to add that special touch to your outfit.

WHAT I HAVE MY EYE ON THIS YEAR

I always love a good sale and I have my eye on a few items I’d love to have in my wardrobe. Since having Cole my body has changed and I do not fit in most of my clothes.
