I’ve always been drawn to creating a vision board to help inspire, motivate, and manifest things in my life throughout the years. To create a vision board, you first will need to collect physical items such as pictures, magazines – clippings, words, and quotes that can help affirm your goals and dreams.  You can think of a vision board as a ‘goal’ board that can help visualize and help ignite the power within you.

You’ll want to use something like a pinboard where you will place all your clipping on. Pin them down and then hang the pinboard up on the wall. Be sure to always take time to admire and envision yourself having all the things you desire in your life already. Try to feel it in your heart that you already have these possessions in your life. Take action steps each day towards your goals.

Another trick I do when creating my vision board is starting by using PowerPoint with a blank slide. I start googling picture images, quotes, words, anything that I want to clip up onto my PowerPoint slide. Once I feel like my vision board is complete I save the PowerPoint slide as an image and set it as my computer background image. Now, whenever I open my laptop or close out a window I am reminded of the goals and inspiration I want my life to be surrounded with. There is no mess involved and no materials needed. Just your computer, PowerPoint, and a wifi signal.

Make it fun! Get some of your closest Mommy friends together and make a night out of it. Pour some wine or favorite beverage, get some snacks, time away from the kiddos, focus on your vision, make memories with friends, and take time to enjoy the moment.
