Love is in the air and it’s a great time to do activities with your Toddlers this Valentine’s Day Season. And with Valentine’s Day around the corner, I found some fun, easy, and educational crafts for your little one to enjoy.

I Love You To Pieces

Valentine’s Day “I Love You to Pieces”  from myboredtoddler.com is perfect for your little one to practice gluing ripped pieces of colored paper into the center of your heart. This has been around for a while. Here are things you will need.

You’ll want your toddler to rip up the scraps of paper. And of course, help if needed and even get your hands dirty and do your own “I Love you to Pieces” craft. Place the glue all over the heart and let your toddler stick the ripped pieces of paper inside the center of the heart. It makes for great memories and a keepsake for parents!

The Cupid Arrow

The Cupid Arrow Craft from messylittlemonster.com is an easy and fun craft for your toddler to enjoy. Here are the things you will need.

Start off by prepping all the materials and adding a small dab of glue on the ends of your sticks prior to your toddler sticking the hearts on. It will make it super easy and fun for them. If you do decide to paint the sticks. Please be sure they are completely dry before adding the glue. Apply one large heart on one end of the stick with the rounded end of the heart placed inward and the point of the heart is facing outward. Do the same thing on the opposite end of the stick with a smaller heart.

Once all dry and complete you’re ready to display your cupid bows! You can hang them from a ribbon, attach them to a wreath, put them all in a jar and pass them out, or have your toddler bring them to his/her classroom to pass out to their classmates and teachers.

Valentine's Day Puzzle

This Valentines Day Puzzle idea I found from howwelearn.com is a super cute idea and helps your little one identify their name, letters, and line up the puzzle pieces. What you will need:

To make this puzzle you’ll first need to cut the construction paper into a heart. In order to do this, you’ll need to fold a piece of paper in half. Draw a half-heart shape along the folded edge of the paper. Cut the heart out (parents, you may want to do this step). Next, write the name of your little one inside the heart and draw curvy and zig-zag lines between each letter.

Have your little one cut on the lines to divide their puzzle into pieces. And now the fun begins by having them assemble their name in the correct manner. Have them glue each letter puzzle piece onto a white piece of paper.

Celery Heart Stamp

This is another neat idea from howwelearn.com and that’s Celery Heart Shaped Valentines. You’ll need

First, you will want to cut the celery stalks. The ends already look like hearts so there is a need to do anything else beyond just cutting and cleaning the celery. Then just dip those celery hearts into paint and stamp them all over the paper. You can cut construction paper into a heart. Write a little poem or Valentine’s gram inside.
