On a budget and stuck on what to get people this holiday season?
Hey Babes! It’s that time of year to give back to others and show how much we appreciate the people that are in our lives. During this time of year, it can become overwhelming on how many people you have to buy gifts for and that can also take a toll on your bank account. It’s not the price of the item that matters, it’s the thought that counts. So I’ve come up with my 5 inexpensive gift ideas to give you some inspiration this holiday season.
5 GIFT IDEAS THAT CAN GO ALONG WAY
1. SELF-CARE PRODUCTS
This is a great gift to give to your girlfriend or any women in your life! And when I talk about ‘self-care’ products I’m referring to face masks that you can purchase for cheap from your local CVS or Target like bath balms, lip and face scrubs, etc. You can bundle all the products and create a little ‘self-care’ package for that special someone who deserves a little spa and ‘me’ time. Life can become busy and the days flash before our eyes and before you know it, it’s been months since we’ve taken time for ourselves and took that extra time to care for our skin from all the make-up we wear or just having time for relaxing in a nice bath with a bath balm and while we are at it, let’s add a glass of wine!

2. HOLIDAY CARD WITH GOODIES
I think this is a good one for the kids. Sometimes we have so many gifts to buy children it can become overwhelming and costly. This year, why not give your nieces, nephews, or best friends children, or whoever a holiday card with cool stuff inside such as pencils, small erasers, candy, stickers, etc. If you head to your local Dollar Tree you can find great items to stuff into their card for only a $1.00 and items sometimes come in a small bulk. You can also add a $5 – $20 bill inside the card or any amount your budget will allow so that they can spend the money towards something they want, or parents can tuck it away in a savings for them. They offer more holiday selections and smaller bulk sizes in stores. When you shop online at the Dollar Tree they have a large min. per product.

3. MUGS
Ok, there’s nothing like a great looking coffee mug to drink out of in the morning. This is great gift for co-workers, friends, or relatives. It’s something that can be used year around and if you look hard enough you can find some really inexpensive mugs. You can find mugs as cheap as $1.00! Now again, it’s not the price tag of the item, it’s the thought that counts this holiday season. If you want to spice up the mug gift, add some chocolates, candy canes, a packet of hot chocolate with marsh mellows, popcorn, tea, coffee, or any type of Christmas stuffer of your choosing to personalize it and add goodies.

4. SUCCULENT PLANT
It doesn’t take much for this to be a DYI project or you heading down to your local Trader Joe’s or Home Depot for $2.00 – $10.00 potted succulent plant. You can add a personal touch by tying ribbon or custom tags to add your own personal touch.

5. BAKING TREATS
They always say a way to a person’s heart is through their tummy, so why not bake? You can make holiday cookies, brownies, pumpkin bread slices and win the prize of gift-giving. Who doesn’t want to receive some cookies wrapped in a bow just for them to eat? Enjoy the yumminess of the Holidays. You can make a batch of something and then cute/divide up the baked goods accordingly, wrap and tie them up and pass them out to loved ones and acquaintances to spread the Holiday cheer through their taste buds and into to their heart.
